Margaux Poupard

Despite her very French name, didn’t grow up in France, but the equally glamorous Burbank, where she was ridiculed for heating up her quiches at lunch by kids who took acting classes with Blake Lively.

With her degree in film, she began her writing career as a concert reviewer for the SF Examiner. Margaux has since contributed to: The Bold Italic, Thrillist, KQED Pop, and 7x7.

In 2010, Margaux co-founded Ocelot Webworks, a full service independent production company. Through Ocelot, she co-wrote and co-produced two successful web series, in addition to sketches, and commercials for local businesses. They were invited as finalists to present at the Digital Hollywood Content Summit.

Her writing has won Best Comedy TV Pilot at the LA Comedy Film Festival,  placed in ScreenCraft's TV Pilot & Fellowship competition, and is an alum of Stowe Story Labs narrative lab and TV Writers program.

Currently, Margaux writes and teaches sketch comedy at Killing My Lobster, and earns a living as a freelance copywriter.

Margaux is also the co-host of Old Millennials, a deep dive podcast on pop culture topics from the late 90s-early 00s.
